About this app

Squeezy has been designed by chartered, NHS physiotherapists specialising in men's health.

It is suitable for all men who should be doing pelvic floor muscle exercises (also known as Kegel exercises). Men should only be doing these exercises if they have symptoms (like leaking) or before and after a prostatectomy.

The app is particularly aimed at men who are seeing a specialist physiotherapist for problems connected to their bladder, bowels or pelvic floor muscles, as it can be tailored to a specific exercise programme and set to remind you when to do your exercises.

Having pelvic floor muscles that are working well can help with premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence.

It is simple to use, discreet, informative and has helpful visual and audio prompts to support your exercise programme. Also, it maintains a record of the number of exercises you have completed.

Features:
• Customisable exercise plan
• "Professional mode" to help physiotherapists set detailed exercise plans for patients
• Visual, and audio prompts for exercises
• Information and tips written by men's health physiotherapists
• Graphs to track and monitor your progress
• Write a short note after a completed exercise
• Bladder diary to keep track of your symptoms, if required
• Simple and clear interface

The app is UKCA marked as Class I medical device in the United Kingdom and developed in compliance with Medical Devices Regulations 2002 (SI 2002 No 618, as amended).

The app is great for reminding and doing the pelvic floor exercises, but it's limited to only the Kegel exercises and not any other types. The reminders don't happen at the set times unless you are using your phone at the moment. Sometimes the reminder dings _while_ you are actually doing the exercises! But I'm grateful for the reminders and timers nonetheless!

Useful app, certainly helped me in my ongoing treatment for prostate cancer. Unfortunately, recently its stopped notifying me of my planned exercise. Is there a problem? That's why I've only given it a four star rating.
