This app is trash. It never stays connected. Tech support told me it was bad board. Board replaced and still disconnects all the time. They guy who installed it told me that I could unplug and plug it back up to fix it. That works for about 1 hour then disconnects. Rainsoft should do away with this app if they're softener system cannot actually communicate with it.

Sure would be nice if the water system could go more than a few days without disconnecting. Barring that, why not have it automatically reconnect when it can? The app itself seems OK, but the implementation on the water system itself leaves a lot to be desired. No auto-reconnect, frequent disconnects, and the absurd reliance on 2.4 Ghz WiFi. Hire some devs who know how to get this thing working, please.

It is frustrating how you guys screw up on an application that even originally does not do any significant thing. Thought my system and/or network were faulty but after reading other's recent feedback, just realized all have similar problems after an app. upgrade. In my case, it does not connect in the "last mile" of the process sending an error message that says: "Alert, there was en error retrieving device ID from the Remind database" Please advise if/when you fix to at least save face 😔.
