About this app

This is an app for Oviva patients only, which you can access with your patient credentials once you are referred to Oviva by your physician.

How the Oviva model works:
- Once you are referred by your physician, you will speak to a qualified Oviva dietitian in person or via phone, depending on the type of referral
- Your dietitian will assess your eating habits, your motivation and goals
- Together you will set achievable goals and discuss strategies on how to get there with sustainable long-term behavioural changes
- Via the app, you can interact on a regular base with your dietitian e.g., send photos of your meals and ask questions. Your dietitian provides you with regular feedback and motivation on a 1:1 basis, which is known to significantly increase weight-loss success and improve your health.
- Your dietitian will equip you with evidence-based knowledge and personalized tips to pave your way to a healthier you and help you accomplish your goals in a sustainable way

Ratings and reviews

Useless app, endless notifications, emails etc and extremely patronising! "A handful of berries! Reward yourself by reading a magazine!" Seriously! endless pages of "lessons" to get through and most of them are common knowledge. I'm severely disabled and have multiple health conditions/medications that make it extremely difficult to lose weight but this app does not take that into account and you spend months just endlessly logging meals and activities. Also, no one replies to chat messages.

Updated my review - after a month of using this app - imo, it's only going to benefit people who are brand new to learning about nutrition and exercise. All the information is more basic than anything I've already found on my own. The ai is v poor. The food tracking is a worse version of a combination of myfitnesspal and foodview. Even putting branded, exact measurements of food the macros VERY wrong. It seems to assume everyone using it doesn't know basic nutrition and has never exercised.

it is acheiving it's aim of making me assess and be more mindful of my eating and exercising habits but I find it overly time consuming due to the repetitiveness. I would like the mood monitor to be out of 10 instead of just having the 5 options. i would like more options for clarifying my answers recordings because i am not in a routine it is often difficult to answer accurately.
