App is far behind the competition. Doesn't allow more than two temperature settings in a given day in the schedule. American Standard HPWH is very noisy. If app is more advacned, once can set it to start heating at night 11 to reach 150 by morning 7:00 and then have it set to 110 for morning hours for peace and quiet and then have it set back to 150 for rest of the day till evening 5 when it can again come back to 110 for peace and quiet.

Telling me my consumption of LPG is costing $1000 a month when that is definitely not the case. Propane is delivered by the pound which isn't an option in the app when choosing gas units, which is throwing off the "Energy and Savings" feature. Even with doing the math, the app is waaaaaay off on consumption.

This app is very clunky. It doesn't work most of the time. There are 3 android phones in this house, and none of them work very well with this app. If I could, I would give this app zero stars. Don't buy the American Standard water heater if you want to control it through the phone app!!!
