Rentec Direct provides property owners direct access to your accounting records when your property manager uses Rentec Direct for record keeping.

Important: Have your property manager activate your account. They will then send you your login credentials for the app.

Disappointing. I couldn't log in, even after double checking the username and password. Then I figured out what the problem was. You cannot log in and use the app as the property manager. It is designed only to give the owner info to owners. So I upgraded my subscription and made myself an owner profile with a new username and password and then I could log in! However, what you can see and do as an owner is very limited. I can't enter rent payments, look over lease agreements, etc. It only shows reports that are interesting to owners that are not actively managing their properties. What I'd really like is a property manager app that duplicated the functionality of the website in an app. Or, have a good mobile version of the website for when I need to do work on the go.

I have changed my password so many times at this point, but I have confirmed that logging on online on Chrome works but the app says incorrect login, even with the same credentials. Would like to have an app as opposed to using the website when at the properties.

Have been using this app from the beginning. Easy to use, lots of options, all accounting needs in one place. Also has tenant portal.
