App features:
• Change hearing programs without the need to touch your hearing aids.
• Change the volume easily and discreetly.
• Easily mute and unmute the hearing aids.
• Adjust bass & treble to balance the quality of sound.
• Adjust the span and direction of the microphones (PL 80 & 60 and TL 16 & 12 devices).
• Check the battery status of your hearing aids (PL 80 / 60 / 40 and TL 16 / 12 / 8 devices).

Intended use:
The Smart Remote App is a tool whereby the patient can adjust convenience functions of a hearing aid, within a framework given by a hearing health specialist, e.g., ENT doctor, audiologist or acoustician.

As well noted by other, sound field needs to stay on, the various programs seem to work some what, and frequency adjustment is necessary, but seems to be adequate. One year later still sound fields automatically reset. Setting for various situations still does not have dramatic effect. Too much background noise. After two years still voices are NOT CLEAR.

After downloading app to my new phone, battery status function was missing. A reviewer noted that he went to where he purchased hearing aid and audiologist set up app with "barcode". I did that and the battery function was restored. So happy because it is a function I use often. Audiologist gave me copy of "barcode" to keep at home. Problem solved.

Very basic. Would be better if you could control the aids freq range as well as basic bass and treble. Not really happy with the app or the hearing aids. After having used the ear buds for some time now, I'm convinced that the mike acceptance element is purely a placebo. I am unable to determine ANY difference in the acceptance cone/range of the hearing aids. I think it's all overpriced technology and I am not happy with any of it.
