Flex Transit offers a convenient and affordable on-demand shared ride service in Escambia County, FL, operating Monday through Saturday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This service pairs multiple passengers traveling in the same direction into a single vehicle, providing efficient transportation. Flex Transit also connects passengers from their pickup location to the nearest fixed-route bus stop.

Using the Flex Transit app, you can enter your pickup and drop-off locations to be matched with a vehicle heading your way. The fare is $2.50 per ride. Customers who prefer to pay in cash can do so on board, but drivers accept exact fare only and cannot provide change.

Flex Transit vehicles are ADA accessible and can accommodate up to 8 passengers. Please note that bike racks are not available. Children under 5 years old or weighing less than 80 pounds must use a car seat provided and secured by the accompanying adult. Additionally, it is recommended that children under 13 be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This program is a true blessing. The staff and drivers are amazing people. I am without transportation and this is my way to and from work but not only that, it's truly nice to see the care and even independence given to those with medical limitations, elderly and plus others, I'm sure that I haven't encountered and seen for myself. Thank you all, for sure
