About this app

Turn your living room into a private cinema. KinoLight syncs the smart lights you already own to whatever is playing on your TV, in real time.

Point your phone at the screen and KinoLight watches it for you. No sync box. No HDMI capture device. No new wiring.

WORKS WITH YOUR LIGHTS
Philips Hue (including Hue Play and gradient strips), Nanoleaf, WLED, LIFX, WiZ, Govee and Tuya.

KinoLight drives your smart lights — it does not light up the room on its own. You need at least one compatible light on the same Wi-Fi network.

HOW IT WORKS
• Finds your TV automatically and tracks the screen area
• Maps each light to its position around the TV, so colors follow the right part of the picture
• Calibrates to your room, accounting for screen brightness, light response and wall color
• Analyzes screen colors on your device, with optional online TV detection

OPTIONAL ONLINE TV DETECTION
Online TV detection is off until you enable it after reviewing the in-app explanation. It sends selected camera images to Rimami’s service, hosted by Fly.io and analyzed by fal.ai. If local detection cannot find the TV, an upload may show the full camera view, including people or surroundings. Images are sent over HTTPS. Rimami does not save them or use them for training. You can turn online detection off in Settings and continue using on-device detection.
