I've had Ring for several years, and I hoped they'd improve. But they've gotten worse and have started charging more... I have amazing internet, and the only thing that constantly runs like shiz no matter how close to the router, is the Ring app. The playback feature barely works, and it misses so much, no matter how much you play with the settings. Notifications are sometimes severely delayed, either by minutes or tens of minutes. Today, the one at my front door decided to stop working...

Most recent upgrade removes the ability to change monitoring modes from the app dashboard. To change modes, you must upgrade to a more expensive plan costing twice as much! This comes after raising the price of the basic plan by $10. If you don't upgrade, turning off motion detection becomes a cumbersome process. Had I known Ring would raise the cost while removing a basic function, I would have gone with a different system. I will not renew my subscription.

I love the clarity of the picture and that you can hear/communicate through the cameras. THE MAJOR ISSUE is they're always disconnecting and it's SO HARD to reconnect. I have a strong WiFi signal AND 2 extenders 😭🤬 I'd give 5 stars if not for this one thing. It's so stressful. And you have to be near the device, which is even more stressful. The whole point of the camera is for security when I'm not home. It disconnects often when I'm at work so I'm just worried the rest of my shift
