Really responsive, I'd say it is the most stable mobile trading app out there. That said, there really isn't much depth to the app so why wouldn't it be stable compared to TD TOS mobile, which has futures, forex, and options. I'd be nice to see options and futures come to Robinhood...but after two years they still say they "would like to in the future". If you just trade stocks and use something else like Tradingview for charts, this works pretty well.
In all faieness it's too soon for me give a complete review. The app gives good news info on investing and what's going on in the market. Also, it gives an up-to five-year history on individual companies on the stock exchange, which I think is awesome. The downside so far, for me, is that's it difficult for me to figure out how to make a purchase, which might improve in time. Also, overall, this app is not as good as the Stash app, which offers multiple funds that you can purchase from. Plus the Stash app has a convenient automatic weekly purchase that you set up for designated funds. Plus an easy method to change the amounts you designate for each fund. Perhap in the future the Robinhood app will be upgraded. For now, I would recommend starting out with the Stash app.
I don't like that you moved the menu to see stocks by equity, last price etc into stocks you own and watchlist separately instead of floating on the top. It used to be next to the search button. Now I have to scroll to the top everytime I want to see last price and daily percent change for every stock I want to see.
Free stock trades are awesome! The only downside is that you cannot currently buy foreign-based companies. Given what I have seen from Robinhood so far, I wouldn't be surprised if that feature is coming soon!
Trading with no fees! Finally a place for beginners learn without risking a lot and experienced traders can trade without losing profit to trading feed.
So far seems to be a good app I am 3 months in 8% interest on my portfolio so far I'm still learning.
