FlowBooks is an invoice maker and a small business expense app in one. Keep your clients in a client list, send each of them an invoice as a PDF, and track the costs of the work in the same place.

AN INVOICE MAKER FOR FREELANCERS
Pick a client, add the lines, send the invoice as a PDF from your phone. The invoice maker handles numbering, dates and currency in your own locale, so the document reads correctly wherever it lands. Draft it now, send it from the taxi.

YOUR CLIENT LIST
Every client keeps their own contact details and their own invoice history. One tap on a client name shows what has been billed and what is still outstanding, which is the question a freelancer actually asks.

WE NEVER TOUCH THE PAYMENT
FlowBooks does not process payments and does not hold funds. Your invoice shows the client your own payment details and they pay you directly. No payment processor sits between you and your client, no percentage is taken, and there is no settlement delay to wait out.

SMALL BUSINESS EXPENSES
Scan a receipt with the camera and the merchant, date, total and tax are read for you and filled in, every field still editable. Manual entry is available too. Capture is offline-first, so a receipt is saved the second you photograph it and finishes reading when the signal returns.

CSV AND PDF EXPORT
Hand your accountant a CSV of invoices and expenses for a spreadsheet or bookkeeping tool, or a PDF pack with the receipt images embedded. Your records are yours and they leave in an open format.

ONE ACCOUNT, ELEVEN APPS
FlowBooks is part of Billfold. One sign-in covers every Billfold app, so if the business grows into mileage, tax categories or team expense claims, your clients and your invoices come along.

ACCESSIBLE AND MULTILINGUAL
TalkBack support, large touch targets, and layouts that hold at the biggest system font size. English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian and Arabic, with full right-to-left support.

YOUR DATA
Receipt images are sent to OpenRouter for one job only: reading the text on them. They are not used to train models. If you would rather no image left the phone, type the entry instead. Account deletion is inside the app and removes everything.

Scanning is part of Pro, an auto-renewing subscription at $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year. Entering receipts by hand, searching them and exporting them are free and unlimited. Cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings.
