Not quite 5, tracking slightly off I used this app to increase my fitness by leaps and bounds. After running over 500 miles with it I acquired a fitbit Surge and use both trackers now. The fitbit measures 0.89 miles for every 1 mile Runtastic measures. I tend towards the fitbit for the true measurement (after checking it with my car mileometre and Google maps) although the website links with this app are excellent for measuring progress over such a long period. Would recommend
Very helpful. It's very easy to use and it's helpful. It allows music and gives a timer. It's good when you try to beat your own score. It's good with my movements and lengths I'm moving. On point. BUT the location on GPS glitches at times. Unrelated.. I have a suggestion... Maybe you could add a motivational speaker. When I slow down it tells me to' keep going' and when I'm going fast 'keep it up Good work' it's a small thing but does a lot... Please add it in if you can. Thank you.
Pretty good Does what I wanted, but there's room to improve. One idea would be to use local weather information to automatically fill in the weather statistic after finishing an activity. Also, for the first time today, the app froze in the countdown shortly, but not immediately, after switching app (to Pokemon Go, if the devs need that info), so I had to manually approximate what the run was (defeating one of the main purposes of the app). I imagine Pokemon is to blame, being the resource hog that it is.
This app is not FREE for anything useful! As soon as I installed it and provided personal info, I found out you have to PAY for the ability to map out your runs! The free stuff is useless. There are better apps for the free stuff! Very disappointing.
One for now Pushed paused on the app. Came back later to realize there was a lock so it didn't paused and messed up my timing. UPDATE: phone restarted itself, I was hoping the app would be able to pick up where I left off. It didn't.
Annoyed at first I run pretty much the same route so I know more or less when I have gone 1 mile so I was rather annoyed to hear runtastic rattle off a bunch of noise when I'm trying to listen to Pandora, this being my first time using this app. Then came the end of the workout, I don't know if it was fatigue or exhaustion but I couldn't figure out how to open the stupid padlock that would not open via traditional swipe methods just to end the darn thing! Grrr needless to say I figured it out but wasn't immediately obvious.
