Clean UI, loads of activities to choose from Runtastic is visually very clean and intitutive. The big stop and pause buttons with its built-in lock/unlock button makes it less prone to accidental touch. It has tons of activities to choose from but mostly I use running, hiking and biking. It's help and support Center is very cooperative and response time is very quick too. The only downside is that in free version of the app, there just too many ads. Other than that it's a fantastic app.
Help? Is there any way to have the activity stop at a certain goal? I am busy training at the moment and trying to complete a certain distance within a certain amount of time, but it doesn't stop and nor does the voice coach tell me when I've reached my distance so when I look at my phone I end up having gone past the goal and have no idea what time I did it in...
I have only used it once, so I'm sure it's to early to rate this app, but it wanted me to so here it goes. So far it was easy to use it let's me listen to my music, and I don't have to use my ever so precious data plan to use it. It seems to be accurate and it informed me of my mile markers, which might not seem important but I didn't know it was going to and I liked it. That's all I've got.
Pressing start activity shows some popup I was so excited to experience this app. Started my activity in the marathon and to my surprise it didn't start when I saw it after the run. It was showing some silly popup to enable some useless thing. Although it comes only once but it hampers the very first experience of the user.
I cannot trust an app that uses sleazy advertising tactics! It's one thing to be inundated with ads from within the app itself -- developers of "free" apps have to make money somehow, after all. What I find unacceptable is when apps like yours push ads to the notification bar -- a feature of Android I rely on to provide me with PERTINENT information. What gives you the right to annoy me at any time of day when I'm not even using your app? Life is annoying enough already. UNINSTALL.
GPS doesn't work The app used to work pretty well, but lately and consistently when I start my run get the error that the GPS signal is weak. Google Maps at the same time works perfectly. See that there are other users facing the issue as well.
