Deeply is a private journaling companion that helps you notice patterns in how you think and feel — without handing your thoughts over to a server.

Open the app and write. Type it out, or tap the microphone and speak your entry naturally — Deeply turns it into text for you. Not sure what to write about? A gentle daily prompt is always there to get you started. There's no pressure to write a lot; a sentence is enough.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Most journaling apps quietly send your writing to a server. Deeply flips that around. By default, all reflection happens right on your phone using an on-device AI model — nothing leaves your pocket, and it works even with no internet connection at all. If you'd like deeper, more powerful reflections, you can optionally connect your own AI provider account (Google Gemini, Groq, OpenAI, or Anthropic). It's entirely opt-in, and switching modes never sends your past entries anywhere without asking you first.
