Ever since 5/1 or 5/2. The samsung email app remains '1 active in background'. Even when you stop it and close the app all together. It will just be pop right back up '1 active in the background' shorty after. Also it seems like you can't re-size the widget. Really hope an update to fix these issues comes sooner rather then later. bc constantly be 'active in background' will or could drain battery.

The app itself works fine except for calendar syncing. I use this app for work emails so I don't want notifications on all the time. Everything has been fine for years until last fall they did an update where I had to have calendar notifications on in order to sync the calendar. Fine. But now I got the new ultra 24 and it looks like the app got another update where you can't split up the email and calendar notifications so I have to have notifications on in order to sync the calendar. I hate it.

This is a simple, nice email app. User friendly and none of the useless bells and whistles other email apps offer. Good. But has a key drawback. It's spam fighting features are inexistent or almost. Not enough to have a "spam addresses" folder where spam lands. Also needed: be able to categorize as spam information in fields like sender's address, subject lines, domains, keywords, geo regions, etc. Tired of finding massive spam in my inbox every day, unable to stop it.
