This application is software for syncing the Galaxy Watch7 and does not operate on its own.
The Galaxy Wearable application must be installed first for it to operate normally.

[Required Access Permissions]
- Location: To search for nearby connectable devices to connect to the Gear via Bluetooth
- Storage: To send/receive saved files with the Gear
- Phone: To verify the unique identification information of devices for app updates and for installing plug-in apps
- Contacts: To provide services that require account syncing by using the registered Samsung account information
- Calendar: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and schedule
- Call logs: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and call logs
- SMS: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and SMS

[Optional Access Permissions]
- Camera: To scan QR codes when activating the Watch (models that support eSIM only)

Ratings and reviews

Very unreliable. Pairing with my watch will get reset from time to time and switching between two watches is nearly impossible, as it forces me to reset one of them as it will often enter a "retry loop". Overall, Samsung software is some of the worst I've ever had to deal with no matter if in a phone, tablet, or watch. I use this because I need to, but should there be alternatives, I'd be eager to hop onto those anytime.

Through basic Bluetooth on my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, my Galaxy Ultra Watch connects, no problem. But through the Galaxy Wear app, it won't connect no matter what, and keeps disconnecting at 14% of the stupid transfer they make you do to connect to the app. So I lose out on a lot of key features because it refuses to connect because, as per usual, Samsung can't be bothered to patch the app to make it work. 11/18/25

The fact I need the Galaxy wear app, than on top of it I need plugins for every Samsung device I want to use to 3/4 capacity. The reason I say 3/4 is even with the app you can't use certain aspects of your device unless you have a Samsung Phone.
