About this app

This application is software for syncing the Galaxy Watch and does not operate on its own.
The Galaxy Wearable application must be installed first for it to operate normally.

[Required Access Permissions]
- Location: To search for nearby connectable devices to connect to the Gear via Bluetooth
- Storage: To send/receive saved files with the Gear
- Phone: To verify the unique identification information of devices for app updates and for installing plug-in apps
- Contacts: To provide services that require account syncing by using the registered Samsung account information
- Calendar: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and schedule
- Call logs: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and call logs
- SMS: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and SMS

[Optional Access Permissions]
- Camera: To scan QR codes when activating the Watch (models that support eSIM only)

The new update for the Galaxy watch 8 is horrendous. there was no reason to update the exercise mode and now you need to hold down buttons, hit the play button. if you leave the exercise module to answer a text you can't get back to the exercise monitor at the bottom of the screen. truly one of the worst updates I've ever experienced please go back to the older version.

Well the recent update has really made a mess of watch faces. The face selected on the watch does not show up as being the face when you use this app without having to pick another watch face then go back to the one you have on your watch. There was nothing wrong with the old app so stop trying to fix things that are not broken.

This app is easy to use on my Samsung but not on my Motorola even when connecting my Samsung Watch. I was a little disappointed.
