We've used Savaari dozens of times in the last few weeks. The service connected us to long distance transportation we needed. The app is great. There's only a few things to add. 1) The pick up time for each booking, 2) A way to guarantee delivery of the OTP for trip completion. I had to call Savaari every time, and 3) More explicit "additional charges". It is difficult to understand "additional charges" from the drivers.

My experience has usually been okay with the app. The same cannot be said for the actual cabs. It's a hit or miss. One item that is really painful is that the car owners do not give the full 300 rupees that they change as driver allowance to drivers and you end up paying for their meals etc. This is very uncomfortable and an additional expense. I have rented several times from savaari and it has been the same story. If you don't know a local taxi company, then this is safe more expensive option

Not a good experience overall. The product idea is good, but the execution is poorly managed. Recently, I took a round trip and faced a lot of issues, primarily around extra toll charges, state charges, and driver allowances. The drivers/partners are not only fooling the customers but also the Savaari team. In my case, the driver tricked me into sharing the OTP by saying it was required to end the trip. However, they actually used it to log into my account and give themselves a 5-star rating.
