Helm is a fast, polished remote for your Apple TV. Swipe or tap to navigate, type with a real keyboard, control the volume, and see what's playing at a glance.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED, FREE FOREVER
• Swipe trackpad or classic D-pad, with select, menu, home, and the app switcher
• Full keyboard for search boxes, passwords and logins. It pops up on its own the moment your TV asks for text
• Play, pause, and skip 10 seconds either way
• Volume, power and sleep, routed straight to your television through the Apple TV
• Now Playing with title, artwork, and a scrubber you can drag to seek anywhere
• Finds your Apple TVs automatically. You can also add one by IP and switch between TVs with one tap
• No ads. No account. No ad tracking.
SMART EXTRAS (free trial, then a one-time unlock or a cheap yearly plan)
• App Launcher: jump straight into your installed streaming apps
• Room Detection: open on the TV in whatever room you're in, using Bluetooth proximity
• Now Playing capsule: floating playback info around your phone's camera cutout
• Home-screen widget and Quick Settings tile, so the remote is one tap away
• AirPlay audio routing: send the TV's sound to HomePods and other AirPlay speakers
• Remote Finder: track down a lost Siri Remote by Bluetooth proximity

HOW IT WORKS
Helm talks directly to your Apple TV over your home Wi-Fi. There is no relay server in the middle, which also means your phone and Apple TV need to be on the same network. Pair once with the PIN your TV shows and you're in control. Pseudonymous usage and crash reporting goes to Google Firebase only if you opt in, and you can turn it off any time in Settings.
COMPATIBILITY
Works with Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K on recent tvOS. A few extras (like Remote Finder) depend on the Apple TV model.
