not sure what this app is for. seems like the recent Chromecast updates on Samsung prompted the Sound app to be installed but everything is already available in SmartThings without the Sound app and this app doesn't integrate with SmartThings making it completely unnecessary. As far as using Chromecast stream music on my Samsung devices, sound quality is significantly better if I use standard Bluetooth or tap to play. If this app has a purpose, I have yet to discover it.

This app is very buggy. My sound bar is turned on and working well but the app can't connect to it, but if you go to the smart things app the sound bar is connected. This app is unusable and I don't see any difference between it and the smart things app. It took a while for me to connect this app for the first time to my sound bar.

After Samsung broke tens of thousands audio devices with faulty update, I would have hoped they learned to test their software. Unfortunately this one fails on the first step and doesn't let connect devices. On the plus side they still work.
