I think the quality of the visits varies greatly depending in the unit. I've only even had one issue and it was bc the equipment where he was wouldn't let him join the visit. I called Securus immediately, before the visit time even ended, and was told on their end it said that I was the one that didn't log in. At first, I was pretty mad bc I figured they were just trying to get out of refunding the money for a visit I didn't get to use. It actually was 2 visits back to back. But they told me how to go about printing and completing the form needed to request credit for those visits. And the unit also confirmed they were having some issues in some of the barracks there with the video equipment. It took a bit but still not terribly long and they ended up putting credit for both visits back on my account. Otherwise, I've always been able to see n hear just fine. It helps to hear better if you have ear buds or a headset. And no matter what the speed test says, I always use data instead of wifi.
Thank You Securus!! My kids and I get to see our Superman daily because of this app, Daddy got to see them open gifts from Santa on Christmas morning, see them on birthdays. I don't have to load up 3 small kids and fit them in a small booth and try to keep them occupied anymore. At-home visits have made this time much more bearable for us and it has been a blessing,so thank you. The app itself has worked surprisingly well for the 4 months I've used it. Ive been kicked off and had to login 4 times maybe but not too bad!
I need a promo code for a free visitation bc I can't afford to visit my friend right now. I have to arrange getting my stuff from his place through his family, but I need to talk to him to get the correct phone numbers so this happens before his landlord takes over. I absolutely love Securus Technologies. The way they deployed their comms. These services are far better than the competition, especially when talking about their inmate phone call tech and video visitation. I'm a student in a foreign land so contacting my friends and family has become much more straightforward and easier, for the both of us!
I have never once had a problem with this app and I've used it for the past two months daily, for those of u having problems DUH LEARN TO USE IT RIGHT! 😋
My last 2 calls, he was not able to join. I don't know if it's the facility or securustech, but I want my money back!!&& When I called to report it, the lady said it shows I didn't join.. if I pay for it why in the world wouldn't I join it?? Just run me back my money!!!
