The user interface could be improved. I wish they would allow the firmware to update in the app, why do I need to plug it in a computer when than app knows it needs updated (the latest firmware might have done that. It does not say what it does other than, "enable automatic firmware updates"). Another user mentioned turn signals, that would be nice. Other than that it seems to function.

Pretty pointless App for the R1 helmet. Can you actually do anything with it?? It told me to update the firmware, but that had to be done on a PC. Would be nice to actually control some of the functions of the helmet rather than trying to remember and input endless button combinations whilst you are riding! The guide doesn't even show how to operate the radio. Need to refer to the cardboard booklet that came with the helmet for reference...hope I don't ever lose it!

Good product crippled by poor software. Helmet pairs to phone but needs a PC to do updates. Says to update firmware using Updater Software go to this website. Once there you then have to hunt for it because it's nowhere to be found on the landing page. (hint: It's called Device Manager on the website.) Once installed it then takes forever to download the firmware.
