Ratings and reviews

The user interface could be improved. I wish they would allow the firmware to update in the app, why do I need to plug it in a computer when than app knows it needs updated (the latest firmware might have done that. It does not say what it does other than, "enable automatic firmware updates"). Another user mentioned turn signals, that would be nice. Other than that it seems to function.

App crashes when trying to change device name. App doesn't launch any device settings and when selecting the option there's no feedback to indicate anything is happening to either open the settings or indicate back to me that the settings don't work on Android. User guide is poorlly written and possibly out of date given the incomplete information and guidance on how to use intercom mode once paired with another user. Device connected to Android user can't initiate intercom mode.

I bought 3 R2 evos so my kids and I could communicate on rides. everything worked OK for the first two rides, then one of the helmets wouldn't connect to the app. the phone recognized it, and I could play music, but the app failed to connect. I thought this was just my phone, then the other two did it... same BT connection issue, three different helmets, three different phones. This either means that the app is terrible or the helmets are. either way, I'm regretting buying my Sena helmets
