The app is generally good, but Sport mode is a little confusing. The app help only refers to the newer 2.3 models and gives no guidance for the older 2.2. And why is the elevation field always blank even when using GPS? I love that the app is continuously being improved and I'm very happy with the quality and functionality of the watch.

A good system, but with a number of flaws. As others have pointed out, the synch doesn't always work well. The notification when you start the app is annoying and unnecessary. Starting workouts can take 2-3 attempts. There's only one kind of workout - this is terrible. It needs to have more. Walking, hiking, cycling, weights, yoga, swimming, kayaking, rowing, spinning, etc etc etc etc. Location tracking during a working will end if you use any other app which accesses the GPS. This should pause at most, and then restart - ideally it would just keep going. This renders the app almost useless. Anyone ever check their map app while out walking? The step count is barely better than guess work. I added over 2000 steps while driving yesterday... But in fairness, this is a common problem and fixing it isn't simple. The app seems to be a bit of a battery hog, but need more testing to be sure. Using the app in English on a Galaxy S20

Hello Andrew,
thank you for your review.
We will be adding more sports later this year. Also, we keep chasing bugs and bringing new improvements constantly. Please download the latest app version.

Not a bad app, but let down by silly errors; for example, trying to sync to Google Fit tells me "Permission was denied, but is needed for core functionality" and then never asks for that permission. It's also very good at hanging when updating the watch firmware (the latest one can't be installed - it sits at 81% until the watch turns off) but that is at least better than the previous app. In all, I can see the potential, but it's just not there yet...
