ShadeMatch is a photo-based dental shade matching assistant designed to help compare tooth color with selected shade references. Capture a tooth photo or choose an existing image, tap color points directly on the photo, and check the closest matching shade along with objective color difference data.

■ Photo-Based Shade Comparison
* Capture a tooth photo with the in-app camera, or select an existing image from your gallery.
* Tap the center of the tooth and your reference shades directly on the photo to extract their colors.

■ Correction Engine: Subjective Judgment vs. Precise Data
* Tooth color in a photo varies slightly depending on the phone, camera, and ambient lighting. ShadeMatch's correction engine helps compensate for this distortion.
* Using the actual reference colors from the shade guide you photographed, it corrects for lighting and camera color distortion before comparing against the Vita shade guide.

■ Objective Color Difference, Not Just a Guess
* A precise algorithm calculates the color difference between the tooth and the guide — the same metric used in shade-matching research.
* Results show whether the value falls within clinically acceptable range.

■ Patient Folders, Tooth Chart & Capture Records
* Organize photos and results by patient in folders, with a tooth chart to select exactly which tooth you're recording.
* Add notes to each tooth and keep a running history of capture records for later reference.
* All information is stored on your device only.
