This app is very much form over function. I don't like that it has an intro screen so I have to wait an extra 5 seconds for the app to load. I hate that there are videos you have to sit through to be able to use a device. For the thermometer, I wish you could see the temp without starting a cook. Then there are a million notifications while a cook is going. Just tell me when the target temp is reached and nothing else, please. I'd also like to see a graph of time vs temp.

It's like the app stands between me and the grill rather than it being an extension of the grill and its robust capabilities (love the grill). I have even gone to using my wireless thermometer because there isn't a good (loud) way to let me know the food has reached temp. Yeah, it signals a notification, but I want a constant alarm until I turn it off. Also, seems I have to be signed in to use the app, which is annoying, yet will still notify me. Luckily I can see the grill from my kitchen.

So this is just about the app the grill is great I love it. So this is praised as a mobile grill. But I was unable to connect to a different Wi-Fi because you can't get to the Wi-Fi settings. Bluetooth is much more limiting to distance so you have to be close to the grill to get information. Where's Wi-Fi will let you walk a little further away. Clicking on the red symbol for Wi-Fi does nothing. Hopefully they'll get this app straightened out.
