Shelfward keeps a calm, private inventory of what is in your pantry, fridge and
freezer - and tells you what needs eating before it goes to waste.

FAST TO ADD.
- Scan a barcode or type a name; Shelfward suggests a category and a typical
shelf-life date automatically. Two taps and you are done.
- Twelve categories across pantry, fridge and freezer.

EXPIRY FIRST.
- The home screen sorts by what expires soonest, and flags anything needing
attention in the next three days the moment you open the app.
- One local notification a morning, only when something actually needs eating.

HONEST DATES.
- Suggested dates are labelled typical shelf-life estimates. The printed date on
the package always wins, and any date is one tap to adjust.

USE IT UP.
- Finish an item, tick it off, and it lands on your shopping list automatically.
- Items close to their date show a use-it-up idea for that category.
- A waste score tracks how much you used in time versus threw away.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN.
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud. Your pantry stays on this device.
- Scanning a barcode checks an open product database for a name. Nothing
about you is sent, and everything else works with no connection at all.
- Zero analytics, zero ads.
- Export everything to CSV whenever you want.
- Deleting the app deletes your data. That is the whole privacy policy.
