2/5 stars for this one. was going to post a classified ad, had detauled pictures (which is somewhat important when you want to sell an item and be fair to the buyer) and it popped up with photo credits. Photo credits? The app already monetizes using ad-impressions, but I'm supposed to pay, so more users are driven to engage them? Sorry, not going to be the content that gets directly and indirectly monetized. Pick one, you can't have both.

Now have to pay subscription to sell anything, which does explain why the jumble of For Sale items is mostly dropshipped tat from resellers. As noted below, it implies that a limited number of listings can be made without subscribing, but it's not the case. The app is plagued with ads (mostly Temu - ew) which is all but unnavigable as a result, I know there's a cost to running it but this isn't the way to offset it! No reason to continue using; shame, used to be brilliant.

Shpock - Now not a viable business model. Use Shpock very occasionally to buy and sell the odd item. Today tried to list a dryer but now asking for a fee. Probably explains why the listings have reduced by 90%. Sadly a catastrophic move on behalf on the founders of Shpock in an age where apps are increasingly receiving income from adverts only and subscription models are out of favour. Once a great little app. Subscriptions and fees counter productive when you lose 90% of your user base?!
