About this app

SilverFox InControl connects your Android phone or tablet to the SilverFox handlebar controller, so you can operate navigation and map apps with the controller's buttons and joystick instead of the touch screen.

FEATURES
• Two modes, F1 and F2 – choose which app each mode opens
• Pan the map with the joystick, with adjustable pan distance and joystick rotation to match how the controller is mounted
• Zoom in and out, with adjustable sensitivity and reversible direction
• Calibrate the memory buttons to any point on the screen – calibrations are saved per app and per screen orientation
• Optional media control: play, pause, previous and next track
• F1/F2 mode indicator on top of other apps
• Controller battery level and firmware version at a glance
• Firmware updates for the controller over Bluetooth
• Languages: English, Finnish, Swedish, German and French

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
InControl uses Android's Accessibility Service API. It is required for the app's core function: operating other apps with the handlebar controller. With your permission, the service receives the controller's button presses, performs the taps, pans and zooms you have calibrated in the app on screen, identifies which app is on screen so that the right calibration is used, and shows the F1/F2 mode indicator. During calibration only, it takes a temporary screenshot to show a magnifier; the screenshot is never saved.
The service does not read what you type or the content of other apps, and no data is collected or shared. You turn the service on yourself in Android's accessibility settings and can turn it off at any time.

PRIVACY
No ads, no analytics, no account. All settings stay on your device.

SAFETY
Only calibrate or change settings when the vehicle is stationary and parked safely. Never operate the screen while riding or driving. You are solely responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle.
