About this app

ODOBY is the all-in-one app for motorcycle riders.
Ride navigation, a dashcam for your rides, GPS ride logging, 'Ride together' with voice chat and your teammates' locations on one screen, and 'Territory' — a game where the roads you ride become your land. Everything a ride needs, in one app. No sign-up required.

■ A fresh new layout
• Four tabs: Home · Ride · Ride together · Territory
• One Start ride button records your ride and your territory together
• Portrait and landscape everywhere; in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese

■ Ride navigation
• Search and go right from the ride screen (Kakao in Korea, Google elsewhere)
• Turns, underpasses, overpasses and forks shown ahead with pictures and voice (a chime outside Korea)
• Colored road-lane guidance (some roads in Korea)
• Safety alerts for speed cameras and average-speed zones (KakaoNavi), toggled on the ride screen
• Traffic-light countdown (parts of Seoul and Ulsan)
• Traffic bar for the whole route, the road you're on, passed road dimmed
• Gas stations and prices along the route, add a stop
• Destination weather and rain forecast map (KMA)
• Favorite places (home · work · hangout) stay on this phone
• Guidance continues on the dashcam screen and in picture-in-picture

■ Ride together (voice chat · location sharing)
• Voice and teammates on one map with distance to each — tap one to center on them
• Join a room by QR or room code — no account, just a nickname
• Noise reduction for wind and engine noise, helmet volume control
• Automatic recovery from voice dropouts and silent mics
• Leave voice and keep sharing your location
• Falls are shown to your teammates automatically

■ Dashcam
• Front and rear dual-camera recording, nothing missed
• Live HUD with speed · G-force · lean angle · altitude · time — burn it into the video
• Auto-protected clips on impact, plus an emergency-save button
• Old clips auto-cleaned when storage fills (protected clips kept)

■ Ride log
• GPS route · distance · speed · average/max speed · altitude · G-force recorded automatically — even with the screen off
• Ride replay — play your ride back on the map with speed, elevation and a G radar
• Save and share GPX for other apps; km / mile units
• Home-screen widget and app shortcuts start recording or voice chat instantly, with distance and speed at a glance

■ Territory
• Ride, and the road is yours — claim ~120 m tiles with GPS in the rider territory game
• See who holds what on the My land · My team · Everyone maps
• Ride as a team and defense stacks up together; rival teams wear it down — at zero, the tile is taken
• Alerts for lost tiles, your rivals, and this week's hot zone
• Rider and team rankings (this week / all time)
• Start with just a nickname; join up to 3 teams
• Tiles around your start and end points are never recorded, so your home stays hidden

■ Labs (try features early)
• Mount vibration check — results stay on this phone
• Bump map — opt-in; shows only spots where 3+ different riders hit a bump

■ Privacy
• Video, audio and ride logs stay on your device by default.
• Navigation sends your search, location and destination through the ODOBY server to Kakao (Korea) or Google (elsewhere) only to find the route. Weather and gas prices use a ~5 km area only.
• Territory sends only your nickname and the tiles you passed (~120 m units) — never the GPS track.
• The bump map sends only the bump spot, strength and heading, and only if you turn it on — no nickname or route is kept.
• Crash diagnostics are on by default; turn them off anytime in settings.

Ride safe: using your phone while riding is dangerous and illegal. Change settings only when stopped, and mount the device securely.
