Super bad experience. I created a whole profile before being able to see the available sitters in our area (fine, but could be better, to get a quick idea if there are any), after selecting a few and trying to message one of them, I get told FOR THE FIRST TIME that I need to have a paid subscription in order to use the app. I mean, it's ok to have a paid model, but make it clear, so I don't need to spend 20 minutes setting it up to find out.

As a mother, you can open a FREE PROFILE, set your requirements and wait for the babysitters to write to you, then you can reply for free. Premium is an optional tool to speed up the process to start the conversation and not to wait to be contacted. We will help at info@sitly.de.

As a babysitter I don't recommend this app either for parents or nannies. Babysitters have to pay a fee to use the app, the only platform that does this. Parents also have to pay a fee much higher than other services. Unlike at agencies, this fee does not go into anything. Babysitters are not screened or interviewed, the ones that pay more appear on the top. The app is not the most user friendly either, and it is only used to make contact rather than make bookings. For them money>safety.

The app is glitchy and crashed a few times forcing me to reinput my information into their terribly cumbersome system. Finally gave up, I shouldn't have to work that hard to use someone's product. Additionally the system is terrible at recognizing addresses, it kept telling me my address was not valid... But I assure you... I know my own address. What a waste of time.
