DISH Anywhere requires a MyDISH account, and a Hopper with Sling or Hopper 3 receiver model for streaming Live TV and DVR.

(DISH Anywhere users that do not have one of the above supported receivers but do have a MyDISH account can still use the On Demand and Live Stream from select channels).

Accessibility Service Disclosure: To provide a seamless and reliable navigation experience for our users, DISH Anywhere utilizes the AccessibilityService API. This API is used strictly to facilitate 2D spatial navigation and handle directional key events from remote controls on Android TV and Google TV devices. DISH Anywhere does not use the AccessibilityService API to collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.

This app is so buggy. It constantly crashes. It will only connect to my Chromecast about 50% of the time. It's been like this for years and it's never gotten better. It's honestly one of the worst apps I've used and if I want to watch TV on my bedroom where I don't have a satellite box, I have to use the app and cast to my chromecast. Clearly it's not "DISH Anywhere"... it's "DISH Someplaces, Sometimes, but Don't count on it. "

I've been using Dish Anywhere for a couple of years when I travel. It's nice to have but it buffers ALL THE TIME. It doesn't matter if there's high speed connected to the hopper and connected when the Dish Anywhere app is on, it still buffers and it legs when hitting the forward or back buttons. It also states up to 5 users at once, I can only get 1. If another person tries watching it on the ap, it kicks the 1st person off. No other streaming aps buffer. Worse streaming ap ever!

So doesn't work. I can't log in because it says it can't retrieve information from "Radish". I can't pair using my receiver. I enter the code and after a minute, I get a message it won't work. Dish Network is falling apart. Between losing numerous stations, an app that doesn't work, bad customer service and taking forever to send a technician when you have an issue, this company has gone from best to worst in one year. Very sad. I'm switching my service.
