About this app

With the app "CastPlay" you can use your mobile phone to control your Smart TV over the local network. Make sure your mobile phone and Smart TV are connected to the same home network. It is better to set your router to 5G mode, and then connect your Smart TV to the wired network. If your router supports a privacy separator function, make sure it is disabled.

Support local media files projection, screen image, Smart TV and mobile phone will be more interactive.

Horrible!!!! After reading the reviews. It is true what everyone has been saying. This app does not work!!! I literally just bought a TV and downloaded the app and it's not even connecting to my phone. So how can you use a product when it doesn't even work from the get-go?? Looking forward to using this app but I guess I'm not going to be able to. In my opinion sometimes if something's working good,why change it to fix a couple things when it's only going to end up crashing and burning??

Used to work like a charm. But latest update has messed up something. It crashes everytime, as soon as I connect to the TV. Tried clearing the cache and even reinstalling the app. Nothing worked. Update on 24th Oct 2023- Seems like devs have fixed the crashing issue now. Working fine now, just like before. Awesome.

Oh my god what the hell is with this app?? It just closes. I've cleared cache, forced stop, reinstalled but it JUST WON'T STAY OPEN LONG ENOUGH TO DO ANYTHING ON. Both devices are on the same wifi service and I don't have issues with other screen casting apps. Boo
