Was switched to the new app this morning. It's set for European units, not US units. Google should be able to figure out what unit to use based on a user's location; they have our location already. Google also dropped a category useful for people trying to gain or lose weight, not to mention exceptionally useful for chemo and radiation treatment patients, food. Calories are important for most, protein for some, fat for many. Now, no way to track those within the new app. The old app made it eas

So far it absolutely sucks! Just charged me $25.00 to access the software features that were free on my other fitness watches. There was *no disclosure* noting a requirement to pay for software when I purchased the device. Rather, that only appeared after I received the watch. Now, it's forcing me to log-in with a Fitbit account I haven't used in at least seven years, and which I transferred to someone years ago. No option to open a separate account for this new, separate device. Pissed-off!

This app is a SCAM! It is not Fitbit. I accidentally installed it and even though I chose free app it still asked for credit card information. each time I entered a card number it said denied. Like an idiot, I entered 2 other card numbers and each was denied. Now all 3 cards have been compromised. Purchases were made immediately after entering the card numbers. Luckily my banks caught it right away and blocked the unauthorized purchases. Though now I have to wait for new cards to be delivered.
