Not a very good app. What modern day AC unit doesn't allow you to set the temperature in the schedule function? Scheduling is only on and off only. You can't ask it to turn the temperature down when you are away and up right before you get home. Always switches to Celcius no matter how many times I change it to F. Only one person can have access to the minisplit. If someone else signs on it will kick the other person off.

I'm really happy with my solar aircon EXCEPT for the external temperature reading for my locality. Every weather app tells me that the outside temperature is 4 to 5 degrees Celsius higher. This creates problems programming the aircon to automatically start when it is really hot outside. I have no idea what locality is actually being used by my solar aircon (I have it set it to my locality but obviously it is not using the correct information). Resetting my locality doesn't fix the problem.

WARNING: Now requires precise location. I've had an EG4 for over a year and this app never required location. It would ask, but I'd hit Cancel once or twice and get to my device. Now, out of the blue, it requires Bluetooth and Precise Location (approximate doesn't cut it) to get to the device. That's just creepy. If I need to lower the temp while I'm sitting on the crapper after a late night Taco Bell run, I can do it from the app... I mean I USED TO be able. Now I'll just sweat it out.
