SONOS is very moody On the occassions that the app does connect to your Sonos, don't expect to hear your songs for a while, it will require updates to either SONOS or your controller app. On the occasions that it does not connect, there will be no rhyme or reason - you'll conclude this after positioning the controller, router, bridge, and SONOS all in the same room together. If you want to aggrevate and complicate your life - buy a SONOS system.
It's Sonos Had Sonos for several years now, it works as intended for 95% of the time and there has been a steady stream of improvements over the period I have used it. However the controller (android) does have the annoying habit of not connecting to my system on rare occasions, this may be network issues or the controller software? Because of the overall positive performance I haven't investigated further. Overall really good product and even my wife can use it! Would be nice to have a YouTube music app for the kids.
Mostly good My only criticism is all too often it won't connect with my iTunes music on the My Music Library section. I know it's there as I can access it thru the main controller on my laptop. I can only deduce that the fault must lie with app
Sonos Rocks!!!! I have 6 each of all your speakers plus 2 subwoofers a two soundbars. I just can't get over the sound of sonos speakers I am totally blown away!!! Keep up with the good work keep bring out new stuff and I will make more room in my place for it. Love you Sonos!!!
Restricted in a very frustrating way I bought the new Sonos Play 5 speaker and I am very excited about the speaker in itself, but the fact that I have to go through the Sonos app or a cable to play music is so incredibly frustrating! YouTube? Not possible. My favourite radio station? Not possible. Film? Not possible. Unless you plug it in, of course, but why did I pay such a huge premium for a wireless speaker then? For that money I could have bought a much better non-wireless speaker system plus a Chromecast Audio, which is much more flexible
Needlessly complex to just play music Wanted to play a song at a friend's house, over 20 minutes of searching for the player, downloading the app, carrying the player to the router, plugging into an Ethernet cable, registering the player, setting up Spotify. I regret ever mentioning the song now would have been easier to just plug my phone into a aux cable or use a chromecast. 5 years ago this would be been great but it's so much easier now to use a chromecast or smart tv
