Was formerly a 5-star rating until I upgraded to version 2.0 The newest version removed the ability to sync data with Google Fit and manually enter distances in when I'm on the treadmill. I downloaded the previous working version of Polar Beat (v1.2.7) and am going to revert back until these bugs are fixed! I noticed you fixed the manual distance bug in IOS version 2.0.1. WHY ISN'T the ANDROID version FIXED?
Keeps dropping monitor Constant disconnects to my H7. Just locks into one heart beat and flat lines there. Been using the old app for years and never had this problem. Also, the pause button needs a lock on it. This is all simple stuff that should have been accounted for by any competent developer and project manager. All I see is an app that was made to look flashy over an app that has substance.
*Updated* 7/7/16 👍 Loving the recent update! Nice new look and thank you for the note section. I am still hoping you will implement a user defined HR zone with audible beeps when the user exceeds the range as is basic functionality on your most basic monitors. Right now i am forced to choose between logging my workout with my H7 and app and losing the audible cue my FT1 provides. Thank you! =) keep up the good work
Latest version is horrible! It refuses to track my distance anymore when I am outside running and the GPS is on. Also, whenever I am forced to run on the treadmill I can no longer go in and manually input my distance. Before this last major update, I would have easily given this app 10 stars because it was that good! Come on Polar, you can do better than this. You are losing loyal customers because they can't use the app anymore.
V2.0 bugs have been updated, new design takes a while to get used to. But works as before :) Love the changing of the colour of the current heart rate to correspond with what zone you are in. Toggling between heart rate as bpm and % of max is also really handy. Polar has stopped syncing with Strava for some reason.
Stopped working this week I've really been pleased with the sensor/app, but in the last week it doesn't pair to the sensor anymore. It sees the sensor, just won't pair. Other fitness equipment pairs with it and I just tried new batteries. Issue must be with the app. Galaxy S7. Using the latest version of the app. Edit: Restarting phone seemed to fix it.
Fixed the issue that the screen doesn’t stay on during your training sessions.
