Needs More Connections and upgraded look and feel Polar should allow users to connect to other fitness applications to sync prior workouts and stats.. User interface can be more subtle with more features for free users. polar should also consider merging polar flow and beat into one app.......... its not user friendly to have too many apps for one product
Great App For my use its very good. The only thing what's missing, for me, is the possibility to enter more sports. As I am not an outdoor man I often go to fitness centers to work out.
App works better on iPhone I have both a DROID and an iPhone and the app works better on the iPhone. The DROID either fails to connect to the heart rate monitor or drops the connection after about 10 minutes. I don't recommend for use in the android system
Works great for me Have been using it multiple times per week for half a year now (in combination with my wearlink H7) and it works great on my S5. Didn't have a single problem with it. It's unfortunate to see it's not working for quite some people which Polar can hopefully address timely.
Good concept, poor execution. When the app works, meaning pairs with the heart rate monitor (h7 in this case) it really can be useful. The voice prompts are useful for keeping an average heart rate at a goal level without having to constantly glance at the screen. The add on packs are good too, especially the fitness test, for establishing a baseline. But, the app is flawed, with poor pairing, inconsistent data from gps, and alot of intermittent connection. Sadly I paid for this suite. If Beat was part of Flow, it would be better.
Disappointed I'm disappointed first that you have to buy the upgrade to get the feature where it tells you to run faster or slower to stay in a zone. I bought the upgrade and was very disappointed how uncustomizable that feature is. You can't set your own heart rates to create your own zones. And they make you warm-up at a slower pace every time you start it which is annoying when you start a workout then after a while you have a reason to restart it with a different setting.
Bug fixes, such as slight deviation in distance calculation is now fixed.

Polar Beat is a training and exercise app that goes beyond recording workouts.
