I love how easy it is to use the app to check on my favorite foods. I used to spend way too much time trying to read the ingredients labels on things and even that would sometimes not tell me what I needed to know. Now I just scan the bar-code and BOOM! instant answers. And on the few occasions the item isn't found... I can enter it for review. I just take a picture of the label, and the ingredients, click submit and within a day or so, they review it and add it to the app... CRAZY COOL!

I have been using this app for about 3 years. It has been awesome. I have the premium account, and it is worth the money. I used 2 other apps previously, but they had too many missing foods. This app rarely has an item missing. If it doesn't have a particular food, is super easy to add by simply taking a picture. I recommend this app for anyone with food allergies or for anyone that needs to follow a particular diet. It's easy to use, and I have never had any technical issues.

Don't Bother. Starting December 1 2021 you will only be allowed 5 scans & 3 searches per month. This can easily be achieved on 1 shopping trip. You will be charged $2.99/month if you want anything more than that. The Monash app, considered the Gold Standard, costs a $9.99 flat fee. Developer's claim that this is "necessary to provide the level of service" is questionable when there are better apps out there that don't charge such a high fee.
