What’s New with the SSS Mobile App?

Check your SSS records, apply for salary loan, know the status of your benefit claim anytime, anywhere and do more with the new SSS Mobile App.

Now with an improved look and added features, this new version provides SSS members and employers with a more convenient way of transacting with SSS using their mobile device.



The following are the services avai​lable in the SSS Mobile App:

Members:
Generate/edit and inquire Payment Reference Number for contribution and pay online
View breakdown of contributions

View status of benefit claims and salary loan
Apply for salary loan
Submit maternity notification
Create My.SSS account (if not yet registered)

Know the address of SSS branches with their pinned locations on a map



Employers:

Inquire Payment Reference Number for contribution and loan
View membership information and update contact information

Inquire contribution, loan and benefit status

It's great that I now have the option to check my contributions but the APP still needs debugging, featute upgrades and UI improvements. The Back option on my phone is not working on the app so I need to literally tap the Back button on the APP itself instead.

When opening the app, it suddenly asked to update the security questions. With no other option if the user doesn't want to continue. I tried to update the security questions, then it asked to enter the password, when i type the password and hit the view button to make it visible, the password i entered is gone, and same thing happens the other way around. Clicking on the "Confirm" button doesn't do anything at all. Will not even let the user know if that button was even clicked.

Navigation is a nuisance. Only shows your contribution other than that it is pretty much useless. Why use an app version with a limited functionality when you can use the web? Looks like government contracted another third party without an actual skills of developing a useful app. What a waste.
