Policy details and documents

Access policy details and documents like policy copy, Health ID Card, 80D certificate and more with a single tap. The app also facilitates easy claims intimation and status tracking.

Face Scan

Conduct a prompt health assessment using your smartphone. The face scan functionality lets you find your heart rate and respiration rate in minutes.

The vitals are measured using the phone camera. It uses rPPG(remote photoplethysmography) using phone video cameras to measure the vitals. To measure this we don't use any external hardware or devices.

The measured vital signs are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes.

Telemedicine

This feature enables you to seamlessly connect with a wide range of expert doctors via video call or chat. It also allows you to schedule appointments at your convenience.

Steps & Water trackers

The step tracker monitors your daily step count to help you meet your fitness goals, while the water tracker enables you to track your daily water consumption and set hydration goals.

Health Risk Assessment (HRA)

Evaluate your health risks and receive personalised health insights on areas such as BMI, sleep patterns, and mental well-being. Just answer a few simple questions about your health and lifestyle to get a detailed assessment report.

Ratings and reviews

I had a terrible experience with Star Health Insurance. Customer support is practically non-existent. Every time I call, I have to wait nearly 10 minutes, and just when my turn comes, the call gets disconnected automatically. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you're looking for reliable customer service, think twice before buying a policy from Star Health.

No actual coverage for doctor consultation at good hospitals, no lab test is covered. The app is not user friendly at all. It only shows the nearby network hospitals. If you don't live in metro cities, it will just show you the empanelled hospitals nearest to the place of your mobile location. You can't even beforehand know what are the empanelled hospitals of any city of their choice where you wish to go for treatment.

Been facing repeated issues from this insurance company & the app & customer services deliberately disconnect calls and deliberately delay services. Eventually forcing end user to find a solution for the health issues locally by paying outside the app, though they have an insurance package that covers the same. If there were negative ratings, we would definitely give negative. Feel like they're pourposfully delaying services & support and never call back, though need immedate health support.
