The Sparkasse app is there for you in all situations. It doesn't matter whether you set up a standing order on the train, pay your bill at the breakfast table with the photo transfer or check the account balance and credit card transactions. The tedious task of filling out a bank transfer slip on the computer is no longer necessary. Instead, you can just do everything with the phone/tablet.

ACCOUNT ALARM
The account alarm clock informs you promptly about account movements around the clock. If you want to know what's in the account every day, set up the account balance alarm. The salary alarm clock will tell you when salary is coming in and the limit alarm clock will let you know when an account balance goes over or under.

A cozy evening with friends at your favorite Italian restaurant is something nice. And splitting the bill is easy. With giropay | With Kwitt you can send money from mobile to mobile without delay. This also works if you borrow money or collect money together for a gift.

SECURITY
If you use a high-quality, up-to-date banking app in connection with an up-to-date operating system and a secure internet connection, you don't have to worry about mobile banking. The Sparkasse app communicates via tested interfaces and ensures secure data transfer in accordance with German online banking regulations. All data is stored encrypted. Access is protected by a password and optionally by phone/tablet. The autolock function locks the app automatically. All finances are maximally secured in the event of loss. The TÜV confirms the safety standards and re-checks them every year.

PRACTICAL FUNCTIONS
Use the search function across accounts and bank details, set up a budget book (offline account) for budget planning and view graphical evaluations of your finances. You have a direct line to your savings bank via the app and access to many services such as card blocking, notifications, notepads, appointments and even opening an account via the app (if offered by your savings bank). On top of that, you can switch directly to the S-Invest app and carry out your securities transactions.

MOBILE PAYMENT
From the Sparkasse app, switch to the Mobile payment app via the "Profile" view with a tap of your finger and you can start paying by digital card at the checkout.

REQUIREMENTS
You need an account with a German savings bank/bank that has been activated for online banking (HBCI with PIN/TAN or FinTS with PIN/TAN). The TAN methods supported for payment transactions are chipTAN manual, chipTAN QR, chipTAN comfort (optical), pushTAN; smsTAN.

Please send support requests directly from the app. Please note that individual functions incur costs at your institute, which may be passed on to you. giropay | Kwitt is available to you if supported by your Sparkasse/bank.

Ratings and reviews

The app is not full in English. There is no option to set limit transfer/purchases on card control like in any digital bank. Save account can not be "hidden". Or it's there and everyone could see from behind me or it's deleted from the app (then I can't see and control the saves as well). I just opened an account on sparkasse due his german reputation.

it's impossible to set up a standing order on mobile, because the date picker adds a full date, but the input required is a year month combination only. this results in the only option presented being "delete standing order". this feels like basic QA is missing

My account was blocked (yes, I can't have access to my own money!) for the second time out of the blue. The first time, the reason was: they tried to call me and didn't reach me, so they blocked my account to have me calling back (!!!). And it was something irrelevant. Always have headache with the online banking... Leaving this bank as soon as possible.
