Simple to use and great for motivation to stay active. The membership is worth it because you keep the 15% that the app typically takes on the free challenges. so you make your money back after a few challenges. 4/5 because there are some gaps/ issues with syncing between wearable and app. I have a Garmin and can't sync directly. I have to use Google health as a bridge to be able to sync.

I used to do this all the time, but my Fitbit died (thanks Google) and now the app won't connect to Garmin even though I've disabled Fitbit. Pretty pointless if it won't connect to the most popular fitness device brand out there. (and yes, I've made all the changes in the StepBet app). Don't waste your $ on this one. app regularly crashes and won't sync. tons of issues across all platforms and stepbet continues to blame customers instead of fixing the issue. don't waste your $ here

It tracks steps pretty well but the pay out is microscopic at best. ALSO, they don't tell you in advance, but the ONLY way you can get a pay out is through PayPal. You will barely come out with the amount you put into the challenge and you will have to make a PayPal account, which isn't stated until after you've paid them. they accept any form of payment, but only pay out through PayPal, not your original method. Edited to remove addressed issue. Rating hasn't changed.
