Doesn't work like it's supposed to. None of the push notifications ever come through to my phone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, check all my settings/permissions and nothing. I'd be willing to have a paid function of this app if it would help developers be able to get it to function how it should. Once we lost challenges on the Fitbit platform, I really thought this was going to be an amazing alternative. But so far, it's missed the mark.

Ever since the account updates I have been unable to sign in on Android. I can sign in on web but it fails in the app. Since the app is the main way to create and participate in challenges this makes the Stridekick overall experience inaccessible to me. Edit: clearing cache and data hadn't helped but a full uninstall and reinstall worked.

doesn't read active minutes from health connect, only steps and distance. also doesnt automatically sync in the background, it requires everyone to open the app to manually trigger the sync. defeats the purpose EDIT: increasing to 3 stars. the automatic sync isn't a total dealbreaker although there should be a way to automate this in the background. and for active minutes, you could at least take the minutes from the exercise category in health connect and total them up. better than nothing

Appreciate the feedback, Anthony! Health Connect doesn’t support active minutes since it requires heart rate data, that's how active minutes are measured. And yep, opening the app is needed to sync—this is standard for most fitness apps due to how data is shared across devices.
