downloaded app on 2026-07-08 and passkey sign in doesn't work on android 16 latest, Pixel 8 pro, passkeys are perfectly supported on this device and they actually work on Link web version (mobile browser). it (only prompts for external method such as external key or "use other device". Does not prompt for google password manager stored passkey or default registered password manager passkey) edit: happens even after creating another passkey in app

Link uses deceptive tactics to create an account. When paying a merchant, subtle check boxes are selected by default that creates an account. Requires several additional steps to delete the account.

I never signed up for this and found out it had my data when it emailed me about my monthly spending.
