Can't save offline, what's the point? I've been running a trial of this service to function as the "Dropbox alternative" that their website proclaims them to be. This mobile app needs a LOT of work before it comes anywhere close to that, sadly. First and foremost: no offline saving! That's the entire point of having a mobile app in the first place. Sync makes you re-download the files _every time_ you wish to access them, which means you can't use them at all when offline. Without offline saving, there is no actual "sync" happening at all.
Excruciating Early days for this app, apparently. Strictly for viewing or downloading, as any attempt to upload (single files only!) crashes it each time. No sorting options. Switching away from and back to the app resets it to the default view. Controls in different locations from web view. Send To option works well from other apps, but again, only appears when a single file is selected. (Web view claims batch upload, but that too is broken.) Can't really take this service seriously yet, at least not for mobile.
Lack in features I love the zero-knowledge cloud, but the app seems very early stages. As other people pointed out already, the app is slow after log-in (where's 2FA?) and there is no option to save files offline.
Not very good Like others, I was searching for a Dropbox alternative with strong encryption for important data. On the PC, Sync behaves much like Dropbox but the mobile app is clunky, prone to locking up, and is sparse on features. The description mentions the "send to" function, but I can't find it and I suspect the menu where it's supposed to be is broken. I'd be patient if they were new but I notice this app hasn't been updated in 8 months. That doesn't make me very confident about putting my data in their hands.
No sync, bugs, crashes Downloaded files that you modify need to be manually reuploaded. File info is often out of date. App crashes. Multiple upload does not exist. Integration with Android is nonexistent. It is years behind Dropbox or Gdrive
This app is merely a file viewer and with no sharing functionality, it is next to useless. For a product that prides itself on sharing content, Google Drive leaves it in the dust. Such a shame because the desktop and web interface is a lot more fleshed out.
Introduced sharing to and from Sync.com app with other apps on your phone.
You can now import and export files to and from Sync.com utilizing the Save to Sync.com feature.
