About this app

Fork It is currently in Early Access and free to use — paid subscriptions are coming soon, but everything you see today is free.

Fork It is a weekly meal planner built for the way UK households actually eat — designed around your dietary needs and food preferences from the first screen.

WHAT FORK IT DOES
• Generates a personalised weekly meal plan — lunches and dinners — built around your household's dietary preferences
• Aims to exclude ingredients you've flagged: recipes are designed to avoid your declared allergens and fit diets such as gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free (always check product labels)
• Builds a consolidated shopping list automatically, so you shop once for the week instead of five times
• Draws on UK seasonal and regional ingredients where it can, not a generic international recipe bank
• Shows nutrition information for every recipe, without turning meal planning into calorie-counting

A PLANNING TOOL
Fork It aims to build meal plans around the dietary needs you declare — but no app can replace reading the label. Ingredients, recipes and product formulations change, and only you can confirm what's in the food you buy. Always check product packaging before purchasing or eating, especially where allergies are involved.

NOT A DIET APP
Fork It isn't about restriction. It's about taking "what's for tea?" off your plate every week.

WHO IT'S FOR
UK households planning meals around food allergies, intolerance or dietary preferences — and anyone tired of starting from scratch every Sunday.

What’s new

Fat is now shown alongside calories, protein and carbs in the
nutrition information on your recipes (approximate values).

We've updated the waiting screen so it's clearer what's
happening while your week is being generated, and added a
note before you start so you know roughly how long to expect.

Nutrition data now comes from CoFID, the UK government's
food composition dataset.
