Decided to give this app another go after a year. its different but not really any better. the vast majority of profiles I see are "curated" and cost money to even like. the app will also adjust my filters unprompted every few profiles and forces me to readjust them. I do not want to date anyone younger than 26, but the filters keep changing them in an attempt to show me more profiles. its super annoying so I normally just close the app when it happens. not met anyone here. Feeld wins it for me.

The app feels like it's buzzing with activity, and I get new likes and messages frequently. But when I send a reply I very rarely get anything back. I think a lot of the likes may come from the AI features or from users doing the "like your type" feature. Another issue is that users may not trust their notifications, as the app does send a lot of notifications and will say you've been messaged when you haven't. Lastly maybe users don't fall off the algorithm when they go inactive?

I want to love this app. It has so many good features that other apps dont have but it is constantly automatically messaging profiles that I've never even looked at. It's lead to multiple odd interactions with people I know irl and really don't wish to be interacting with. Also, people who are wildly out of the age range I set my preferences to which is extra awkward.
