If your order gets canceled and you paid by card, they don't refund your card, but they give you credit which you can only use with Talabat, and it expires after 12 months!!! So my money expires if I don't use it in your app?! And I see no option to have the money back to my card. What's is worse, the app doesn't inform you that you might have credit and automatically deducts it, so you keep paying using your card until your credit expires.

The app used to be great a year ago and very practical for groceries and food delivery....I loved it but in the last months they have a Terrible, terrible payment process it wont accept my credit cards from different Banks. I spoke with the banks and they never rejected payments. Talabat customer service only tells you what you want to hear and the issue never gets resolved. I had issues with groceries delivery but they reimbursed me the money.

Talabat is becoming one of the most expensive delivery platforms. Prices for items are usually very high compared to what you’d pay directly at the store or restaurant, and the service and delivery fees are also among the highest. Even the Talabat Pro subscription is pricey, and you still end up paying service fees, and sometimes delivery fees too!! Overall, everything feels overpriced compared to the rest of the market. Also they don't have website to place orders, you must use only mobile.
