Awful app. Basically, if you don't live in the UAE and you want to send some food to your friends and family, you cannot place an order. It forces you to enter a UAE phone number or else you won't receive their "code". After failing to place an order on Talabat, I tried Deliveroo and was able to place the order in 5 minutes. Very disappointed with Talabat.

If your order gets canceled and you paid by card, they don't refund your card, but they give you credit which you can only use with Talabat, and it expires after 12 months!!! So my money expires if I don't use it in your app?! And I see no option to have the money back to my card. What's is worse, the app doesn't inform you that you might have credit and automatically deducts it, so you keep paying using your card until your credit expires.

I ordered groceries. There was no bag, everything was piled onto my arms, and had to carry them like that from the bike to the house. I didn't go through items to check if everything was there as I've never had any problems concerning missed items before. A day after, I couldn't find something, went to the app to check if i had ordered it or not. I had ordered it, so i laid a complaint. Wasn't helpful coz apparently I cannot get any refund if I report missing item after 24 hours😒 give us bags
