EFIS TA is an Electronic Flight Information System for airplanes, which runs right on your smartphone/tablet.

EFIS TA app is paired with TalosAvionics Aeolus-Sense instruments and FlySense AoA via Wifi or USB and provides as full glass cockpit solution for pilots. EFIS TA works also with the internal sensors(if existed) of your smartphone/tablet as a backup system in case of emergency or Aeolus-Sense disconnection.

It's an incredible app that I use on every flight. I kindly ask for an update to include an offline background map. Additionally, it would be more convenient if waypoints could be imported from a text file or any other file format instead of being added manually, point by point

I believe that this should be able to get you home to your airport in Australia or otherwise. Its got to be worth keeping in phones especially for older planes in the country where disorientation and instrument failure can make a big difference. Just a bit of calibration for your sensors and you have backup 24/7. Many seem ok but run5mins or a few weeks demo. I don't see such limitations on this and so will be keeping for in case and test.I have only checked basic accuracy will update if need to

The sense message that will not go away is obviously persistent in order to cripple the display to coerce the sale of the aeolus hardware. The message banner covers the 2 minute turn tick marks and the slip skid ball. To be fair this should be clearly in the description instead of slightly implied. The hardware in question looks expensive to be non certified. Not sure how I justify it. However, the overall presentation is nice. My grandson gets a kick out of running around pretending he is flying. It looks like it would be possible to shrink the sense message so that it covers the sensor specific data and not the ball and 2 minute tick marks if the message is not intended to cripple the use of the ball with internal sensors.
