White noise is a background sound with high, middle and low frequencies, they are distributed evenly and sound at the same volume, without any differences. In our life, we are constantly faced with white noise. It can be the noise from the rain, the sound of a hairdryer, the crackle of a fire, the noise of a vacuum cleaner, air conditioner, and others.

Sounds for sleep and rest will help get rid of insomnia, begin to fall asleep like a baby, finally relax or concentrate and do meditation.

I've tried a lot of free to use ambient sound apps and this one is a definitely a favorite. I'm impressed with the sound quality and the amount of playback customization. I love being able to adjust how prominent the app is with my phone's own volume. It makes combining the app with my music very easy. My only gripe (and this is absolutely unimportant and personal) is that there's no option for windchimes.

Completely in love with this app. Very straightforward UI, super customizable, and most importantly, the ads are unobtrusive. Very polite :) If anything, I do wish you could sort your soundscapes with folders or delete the built-in ones or something to clear up clutter, but that's really my only complaint. I hope there will be more sounds added in the future so I have more excuses to use this app lol. 100% recommend.

One of the better apps available for free, but you absolutely must airplane mode your phone when you run it. If you don't, the timer cuts off 45 minutes to an hour early, and when you're used to waking up when the white noise stops, that results in sleep loss.
