Most soccer injuries never involve a tackle. The ACL, the hamstring, the groin — they go on a sprint, on a cut, on a cold first step. SoccerProtocol is the warm-up, agility and strength work that guards against them, built with Cape Concierge PT, a Cape Cod physical-therapy practice.
Fifty-three drills across six sections. Not a video library to scroll — a structure a coach can actually run: what to do before practice, what builds the armour, and what you owe your body afterwards. The ball-work and agility sections are filmed rep by rep; every drill in the app lists its coaching cues in writing.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SETUP
There is no sign-in, no password and no roster. Download it and the team warm-up, the strength programme and the recovery section are simply there — nothing to set up before a practice you are already late for.
SOCCERPROTOCOL PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE
Pro unlocks the rest of the library: the filmed agility and landing work, the plyometric speed block, and the first-touch and passing film. It is a single purchase on your Google account, not a subscription — buy it once, restore it on your other devices. What sits in the open tier is a coaching decision and may be adjusted as the programme develops.
CUES, IN WRITING
Every drill lists what to actually say — "plant on the outside foot", "stay tall, don't lean back". Coaching a movement you haven't run before shouldn't depend on a video loading on a pitch with one bar of signal.
TOUCHLINE TOOLS
• Sweat rate — weigh in, weigh out, get a real fluid target instead of a guess
• Hop symmetry — a single-leg hop screen with left/right difference worked out for you
• Workload — acute-to-chronic ratio, so a spike in a training week is visible before it costs you a player
• Heat check — heat-index guidance against the usual practice bands
• Wall work — a timed both-feet routine that runs itself
These are screening tools for a coach, not a diagnosis, and the app says so where you use them. Anything that hurts goes to a clinician.
HANDOUTS FOR PARENTS AND PLAYERS
Clean one-pagers you can text to a parent or print for the changing room. No app required on their end.
BUILT TO BE READABLE ON A PITCH
Type scales with the font size you already set in your system settings, the whole app is labelled for TalkBack, and it follows your light or dark preference. Tested with an accessibility harness, not asserted.
PRIVACY, PLAIN-LANGUAGE
• No account, so nothing to sign up with and nothing to delete
• No advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDKs of any kind
• No health records and no medical data — the touchline tools work out a number on your device and keep nothing
• The one thing the app can send is the optional "ask CCPT to reach out" form in Settings — an email you type, sent only when you tap the button
• Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else, ever
