The app is easy to use and easy on the battery. It runs in the background. You set your step length and then watch the distance increase. I like switching between daily, weekly, and monthly totals, too. There are more options in the paid version, but the free version is fun for now. I enjoy trying to beat a score and I walk much than I did before I found this app. Other apps were less reliable and killed my battery. With this app I turned it on and never messed with it. After several months and resulting weight loss I am quite surprised at how much I enjoy this app.
Really enjoy this app and i use it daily. I do wish it had a feature that allowed me to differentiate between my daily total and any "walk" I was currently doing. Yes i can figure the number out but that is kind of the point for an app...to make my life easier. Also maybe a little FAQ explaining the app. I had it for a couple weeks before i realized i could click on different things. Someone mentioned a paid version of this app. If there is one then I am unable to locate it. I would be willing to pay a reaaonable price for more features, no ads, and a "lap" counter that measures my current walk vs only the day's TOTAL. If there is a paid version of this app, then some kind of link to that version would be helpful.
I walked 4.6k this morning and back. When I arrived home I had walked 23,580 steps, double the amount of my first destination, however, my total kilometres were only 4.4?? My friend has the Pacer app and we walker together. His app said that we walked 18,949 for a total of 7.8 miles or 12. 5k...more accurate
Most of the apps out there are for equipment you have to buy which are not cheap. This app makes use of you smartphone sensors to senses your motion and includes adjustments for sensitivity and accuracy. It includes calculations for calories burned, speed and distance you walk. It even includes hour by hour record of the number of steps you take as well as daily, weekly & monthly records display. Not bad for a free app. My only complaint is there isn't any built in help manual.
An ok app. It has the same problems the other one I tried did. The counting wasn't that accurate. Actually it was worse. I really had to mess around and play with it and I still am not convinced I ever got it to record accurately. I have manual labor job so my walking gait and step sizes aren't consistent which this and others can't handle to give me accurate results.
Not bad for a free app. It's not as accurate as a Garmin or Fitbit but at the same time it's a free phone app and really can't ask for much more. The only other thing of note is mph function for some reason will not go above 2.4. Doesn't matter if it's a walk, jog or flat out run.
Fixed some minor bugs
